Some wonder if pornography is educational others wonder how educational it can be when it titillates so many until they commit sex crimes. Yet if we did not have freedom of expression, a lot of what we would see on the screen and in books would be taken away and we would be back to not knowing how it could be of benefit, or would we? Some say it offers us a chance of learning fantasies but others say that those can be picked up without having pornography dispersed over the internet and available to minors.
Many people see that porn is a disadvantage because of the exaggerated appeal. As a result so many are duped into thinking that organisms last endlessly and that women's bodies are picture perfect. Are parents there to tell their kids that the female body will not normally have extra large breasts? This is often what porno sites or poster pictures of porno stars show. There is never a small-breasted woman. Porn sites also depict the male to be well endowed and that too is misleading. The average man is never as perfect as this and he is usually without the six-pack abdominal muscles too. Pornography does not instruct youngsters that the average organism is several minutes for the guy at the most. Instead pornography films will show an unending amount of sexual activity because of the editing that has taken place. As a result young people who are exposed to these sites are getting an unreal image of what love making is and an unreal image of what to look for in either the man or the woman. Pornography sites are also sorely void of any vital discourse that is an essential part of the love making process for millions.
So to answer the question is pornography useful? Based on the distortion of reality in order to push a multi-million market it is not useful as an educational tool and it can be harmful in misleading younger people who are exposed to it.
