Evolution of the Ipod

My thoughts on the evolution of the iPod.

The first Ipod was released by Apple on October 23, 2001. This Ipod had four buttons around the scroll wheel. These four buttons were Menu, fast forward, rewind, and play/pause. These same buttons are on the Ipods of today, but are incorporated into the scroll wheel.

Changes have also occurred in size. Ipods have gotten smaller as time has progressed. In a world were size maters, while T.V. are getting bigger, Ipods are getting smaller.

The newest Ipod has a new shape. From the front and sides it looks the same, but turn it to the top or bottom and you can see an oval shape. Older Ipods have rounded sides, so does this new Ipod, but the edges are much more defined.

Another change: Have you noticed the Ipod Aisle of your favorite store getting more colorful? Ipods used to come in very limited colors, mostly greys and whites. But as time has progressed they began adding greens, pinks, reds, and blues.

These new changes leave me wondering, "What changes will Apple come up with next?"
