Apple just released it's newest version of the ipod nano September 9, 2008. This new release has all the Apple fans who did not like the nano 3g overjoyed. In my opinion this is the greatest ipod nano that Apple has created. It has great qualities from the older nanos and it also has new qualities which make it the greatest mp3 in the market.
Body
The new ipod nano 4g has an amazing physical appearance. It is thankfully thin and tall again like the 2g opposed to the 3g which was short and fat. The 4g is 3.6 inches tall and 1.5 inches wide with a depth of only 0.24 inches! Wow! Talk about sleek! To make it easier on your hands it only weighs 1.3 ounces. What all these numbers mean is that you can carry all day without getting tired, and it's perfect in your pockets. A new cool feature Apple added to this new nano is that it's slight curved in the back for better feel and handling. This nano also still has the smooth click wheel used for most of the ipods.
Traits
This amazingly new nano also comes with awesome features. Sometimes you might just get tired of having to look and scroll through your music collection seeking out a new song to play. Now to avoid going through this process and you feel like you could listen to anything you can just give your sweet new nano a shake and a random new song will begin playing! Apple also installed a new feature called genius that (if you choose to) automatically builds a play list with music related to the kind you are currently listening to! It's great if you only feel like listening to a specific type of music at the time.
Finding your music has never been easier. You can now tilt your nano and see your music album art in cover flow. Instead of reading all the names of your songs you can just browse through all your albums in cover flow, spot the album of the song you want, click on it, and choose the song. If you want to view more artists at one time you can leave your nano upright. Your photos are always at your disposal. Hold the nano vertically and view them in portrait style or tilt your nano and view them in landscape mode.
The 2-inch(diagonal) and 320-240 pixel screen makes watching your favorite movies and videos a blast. Just tilt the screen to view. Games are also able to be played on this new nano which contains an accelerometer that enables you to play games by tilting your ipod to move in games like Maze or Spore origins! You can get more games through the itunes store. According to Apple you are able to tilt the ipod nano to the left or right! This makes games and scrolling through album art in cover flow much easier.
Apple has done it again. They have advanced the music player world. This ipod nano has just been released this September and is available for all to enjoy!
