Holiday Bargain Shopping on the Web

If you don't have the time or the money, then do all your holiday bargain shopping on the web. It's not only easy but time and penny saving too. You'll be surprised at the wide range of online stores that can fit your strained budget.

Unfortunately these days everyone not only have little time to shop but now they also have little money to do so as well. However both of these problems can be remedied by looking at the endless bargains that online shopping has to offer. You can do it anytime while saving a bundle. It's easy enough if you just follow these guidelines.

  1. High end gifts for low end pricing. Every on line store has their version of a “bargain basement”. L.L.Bean has a whole section of great gifts for under twenty bucks. You can get durable ear muffs and ice grips for shoes at bargain pricing. Another site is Land's End which has always has a sales and imperfections page. Here you can buy sweaters , boots and pajamas for slightly less than the regular priced ones. Looking for cute but cheap lingerie then click on the Victoria's Secret site to their sale section to snap up discounts. Most high end sites will throw in free shipping after a certain price. Do a one stop shopping and you'll save both on cost and on shipping expenses.
  2. Of course there's E Bay. Here you can buy just about anything cheap even it's a slice of toast with Barack Obama's image on it. (perfect for bread loving Democrats) The problem is some of the items are going to be slightly used so don't expect gifts to have that brand new feeling and smell. There are some bargains as with jeans and some brands of toys. Check out the auction section while you're visiting.
  3. Secondhand Rose. Consignment stores are the best places to get slightly used designer duds and accessories. Online ones are the same. You can afford to get Mom or your BFF that Gucci bag or Coach wallet. Online consignment stores are also good if you're looking for that vintage designer party dress (think Julia Roberts or Reese Witherspoon at the Oscars).
  4. Site o' plenty. Overstock.com. is a cornucopia of electronics, furniture and clothing. You can get MP3 players here for sixty per cent less of what you would pay in a store. There are also deals on computers and I phones as well as on TVs and DVD players. Overstock does offer some good clothing deals for men and women as well as for children. This is also a excellent place to look for hostess gifts - presents for the home.
  5. Familiarity breeds bargain. If you visit discount stores in real life, then you can visit them in virtual life as well. Payless, Target, K-mart Wal-Mart and Toys R Us all have online sites with the same bargains as their stores. (in fact they may have more styles and varieties). If you can't get to your local ones then just head to the web. Some stores such as Target will even throw in free shipping if you order a certain cash amount.
  6. Surf til you drop. Don't be afraid to scour the web for bargains. There are plenty of good yet little known sites that offer bargains. One is Bella Designer Jewelry that offers chic compacts for as low as twelve dollars and glam brooches (think Michelle Obama) for under ten bucks. Other great sites are Laila Rowe and All The Rage On Line. Here you can get some cool looking necklaces, bangles, earrings and rings for the women in your life. Also check out any of the discount perfume sites. These are great places to get sets for both men and women. A site like Scentiments.com has clearance specials and monthly discounts. There are also several discount sites for electronics as well. These offer great pricing with little or no shipping costs (depending on what you purchase). Take advantage of these when you're buying I pods or X Box games,
  7. Try virtual coupon clipping. Seriously take advantage of all those online coupons. Companies such as Chadwick's has some great web coupons where you can save up to twenty and thirty percent. Another good one is eyes lips face which already sells make up for as low as a dollar. Their coupons are phenomenal because with them their make up can cost just fifty cents (yes, fifty scents for lip gloss or nail polish!) . Also sites such as Everyday Minerals have sections advertising special coupons almost every week . Another site is Borders.com where the store sends you online coupons to encourage you to visit their web site .

This holiday season it is possible to go bargain hunting from your living or bedroom. You don't have to trudge from mall to mall looking for the right gift for the right price. You can do it all from your computer or laptop!
