Music is for all ethnicities, ages, and Religions; we hear music and love music. It may be instrumental, jazz, hi-hop, rap, reggae, Latin, R&B, house, country, classical, or even Christian. Yes, God is honored through music, there are many ways to worship the LORD and music is one way. Music is one way to speak to God and express your joy. Music may be loud, soft, inspirational, universal, energetic, or a mere whistle in your ear with a hymn.
There use to be a controversy about Christianity and different types of music, for Century's rejoicing in the Bible is known through songs in worshiping Christ. There are scriptures, poetry and stories in the Bible, Psalms about the LORD and the great things he does. Jesus sang with his friends, he went to the garden to sing for his father, the LORD almighty.
Psalm 149 verse 1 of the Bible says, "Sing to the LORD a new song." "Sing his praises in the assembly of the faithful." “Why not just be grateful for the joy that he brings us.” Instruments were also written in the scriptures such as flutes, harps, tambourines, trumpets, cymbals and more. Psalm 150 verse 4 says, "Praise him with the tambourine and dancing; praise him with stringed instruments and flutes! Psalm 150 "Verse 5 says, Praise him with a clash of cymbals; praise him with loud clanging cymbals.' Verse 6 "Let everything that lives sing praises to the LORD!" Praise the LORD! Most of the Psalms were performed with music recorded scriptures also mention the fact that they also sang loud tunes.
Paul and Silas sang to God in prison, Acts 16 verses 25 through 27 says; verse 25; says, Paul and Silas were singing to God, and the other prisoners were listening. Verse 26; Suddenly, there was a big earthquake, and the prison was shaken to its foundation, All prisoners fell off' Verse 27; "The jailer woke up to see the prison doors wide open" Paul and Silas were free “You to can be free through music.” Music is written and performed by Christians and we indicate God's glory through lyrics and God himself sings to us and he hears us when we sing to him.
As long as scriptures are not metrically abused one may glorify and praise any type of divine music and may not be judged. Music should come from the heart, the objective is to let out your feelings and communicate through melody, rhythm, harmony, and validate one's own spirituality. It should flow naturally when you sing with your soul, give thanks to the father who created the world anew. If you deliver yourself from evil and accept Jesus as your savior you'll continue to sing when you reach your destination.
