When I became ill I became housebound due to the pain and weakness only going out once or twice a month. By the time I’d paid the bills, been to the doctor, chemist and done the grocery shopping I was and still am in so much pain I needed to go home which meant time and time again I wasn’t able to buy the things I needed and wanted. So I decided to shop on the internet which was a scary thought when your not familiar with businesses or what businesses there are out there and all the risks that can come with shopping on the internet from hearing other people’s scary encounters on the television.
I have been a member of email cash ( www.emailcash.com.au ) for two years now and I decided to start there with their reward shopping partners because for every dollar you spend at these particular online stores you also get money back on email cash. I checked quite a few of them out over the months before I made the purchases and I would like to share in my secret a few of the stores I have shopped with and am extremely happy about that saved me and could save you a bundle. I will never shop retail again unless they don’t have it on the internet. I would also like to mention that you don’t have to be an email cash member to shop with these online stores.
Not only am I shopping online with these online shopping stores for myself but my husband and father in law have jumped on the band wagon and make requests for me to order stuff they would like or need. Which brings me to my first online company www.dealsdirect.com.au . I got an air conditioner for my father in law for $399 which retailed at the time for $700. I bought myself a $239 digital camera for $89.95 and a $399 exercise bike for $149. Which is some massive savings and before I discovered deals direct I would never been able to afford a luxury such as a digital camera. The only problem I had with deals direct is they don’t have a phone number in which you can call them if you have any questions. You can only contact them by email and I hate to say this but if you do email them they are very slow in emailing you back. For me it took them days and at one time a week to respond and by that time your question is probably already answered when the order is delivered before their reply email is given which is what happened with me. Deals direct also sell wholesale merchandise as well so small companies can join in on the massive savings.
I ordered designer label Fabris Lane sunglasses for my father in law and husband for $29.95 each at www.oo.com.au . They have everything but the kitchen sink at their online department store…………actually they may sell that too. I don’t know you would have to check it out! They also sell wholesale products for you small businesses out there.
My third choice www.twodollars.com.au is a great store for cheaper products from DVD’s to toys. I personally purchased a learn a language CD : Rom for $12 and some candle holders. This is also another store that sells in bulk too or maybe you want to stock up on your shampoo or pens for eg.
Now I have saved the best one for last in my first part series on shopping cheaply on the internet. This company is a fairly new company founded, started and run by two young men a year ago. They work very hard and long hours. Before I discovered this company I was a loyal customer of another DVD shop but will from now on shop for my DVD’s with this gem of a company which you will find at www.quikshop.com.au .
They also sell CD’s , digital cameras, digital videos, gaming, mp3 players etc but as I only bought DVD’s I am not a novice on their other products so all I can say is if your interested check it out for yourself. I used to buy my CSI DVD box sets in 2 halves as they became available and would pay up to $80 just for half a season. But I picked up the latest CSI releases complete seasons box sets for $46 for 2 of them and the other one for a cheap $53. That is a massive savings and I was absolutely wrapped with the prices. I must say I was more then happy with the customer service. I will share an example why. We have all had this happen to us when we buy a DVD and it’s loose in the case and it’s scratched because of it. If it’s scratched bad you get it exchanged or if not to bad you probably don’t want to go through the hassle and don’t exchange it. It happens when the manufacturers don’t place them in securely. It’s not the sellers fault. But one of the owners didn’t want to bother me anymore by getting me to send it back to him. At his own cost he shipped a new replacement box set for me. When I had queries and phoned and emailed him he would speak straight away with me and emailed me back not days later but within a couple of hours. The have also added a 1300 number so you don’t have that huge interstate phone bill and they will continue to make other improvements at customers ideas and suggestions. So if you want value for your money and ‘old school’ great customer service then buyquik is the place to shop.
But hey, don’t take my word for it if you want to save a bundle of money and get great customer service check out these websites yourself.
Until part 2 happy shopping everybody!!!!!!!!!
