Come One, Come All.
In 1885, Jumbo had passed away. If you would like to be a part of this respectful day, we would love to see you in Africa. Mice in tuxedoes, trumpets to be heard, peanut's served, and of course, “A Small World After All”, will be played.
It's steamy hot in Africa. Jumbo enjoyed many of his days here. He had roamed this land like he had owned it. Over there, three miles west, Jumbo would play in a huge water hole with family and friends.
Now this is amazing. Can you imagine mice in tuxedos being pallbearers? I thought elephants were afraid of mice. In Jumbos case, he had no time to be afraid. Those mice had said, “Jumbo is a heavy one.” “We all will manage and respect our dear friend,” said the head mouse.
As you walk around to meet everyone, you see trays of peanuts. You have salted and unsalted. Jumbo loved peanuts and everyone here eating them graciously.
Throughout Jumbos funeral, “A Small World After All”' was played in many different ways. From Blues to Heavy Metal. A lot more people were head banging than I thought. All in all, everyone had enjoyed it and that's how Jumbo would of wanted it.
Jumbo will be remembered on this day of 1885. Africa was what Jumbo would of wanted. Seeing mice involved after his time here with us, Jumbo would definitely know he was even looked up to by the smallest and the most fearful. Have some peanuts. Sit and relax. Enjoy the many tunes and beats of music. For the show must go on.
