Yorktown

Another Historical Fiction

September 15, 1781

Dear Diary,

I would never have believed so.Cornwallis has lost in Yorktown to the Colonists, and surrendered his entire army. How one of our supposedly top generals was surrounded in seige, I myself may never know. The colonists did not win this war, it was the French. I can simply not defeat from this inhonorable ragtag bunch of rebels. Theres talk of a treaty now, although i know there will be one. We have no army left in the colonies. Britan, will never be looked upon with the same eyes again.

General William Howe
