American Bigotry: A Response

(contd.)

Should you choose the latter, then please don't complain when more atrocities committed by radical Muslims happen here in our great Country! [Oh, but as I noted earlier, it is exactly this type of bigotry that turns moderate and liberal Muslims INTO terrorists! So you damn well better believe I'll be complaining about jerks like this twit!]

And may I add: "Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference in the world. But, the Marines don't have that problem" -- Ronald Reagan [Note that “a difference” is not the same as “a positive difference” - and many former soldiers, including Marines, wonder if they were on the wrong side in past conflicts, especially since Vietnam.]

I have another quote that I would like to add AND......I hope you forward all this. "If we ever forget that we're One Nation Under God, then we will be a nation gone under." Also by.. Ronald Reagan. [Ever the brain trust, ol' Ronnie always remembered that religious bigotry got him elected, and gosh darn, he wasn't going to forget it. Though he forgot most everything else.]

One last thought for the day: In case we find ourselves starting to believe all the Anti-American sentiment and negativity, we should remember England "s Prime Minister Tony Blair"s words during a recent interview. When asked by one of his Parliament members why he believes so much in America , he said: "A simple way to take measure of a country is to look at how many want in.. And how many want out." [So far, the most Anti-American sentiment I've heard is in this bigoted bunch of ignorant drivel. If the country is filled with people like this, maybe we need a new revolution to get us back to the ideals of the Constitution.]

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you: [What happened to one last thought? Okay, maybe quoting Blair can't be counted as thinking, but then, most of this couldn't!]

  1. Jesus Christ [ Was a “force?” Even if you believe he existed, which I don't (See Did a Historical Jesus Exist?) He was supposed to be a being of a sort, not a force .
  2. The American G. I. [Again, not a force.]

One died for your soul [another thing never proven to exist] , the other for your freedom. [But only if you agree with her, apparently.]

YOU MIGHT WANT TO PASS THIS ON,AS MANY SEEM TO FORGET BOTH OF THEM. AMEN! [I doubt anyone has forgotten JC, even as a myth he's been responsible for countless horrors. As for G.I.s, my military experience showed me that not only do most soldiers have no idea what they are fighting for, but freedom is nothing more than a slogan to many.]

Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending. [Duh! Yes, let's end with an utterly inane statement of the obvious.]

[Overall, I'm glad this person is a housewife (if true) rather than someone who can influence multitudes of young, irrational minds. I only hope she didn't reproduce!]

Any respect I had for your opinions was lost when you mocked a man for having been stricken with Alzheimers. Any respect for your intellect was lost when you questioned the historical existence of Jesus: there are no serious scholars who hold this view.

My mocking of Reagan had nothing to do with his Alzheimers, but with his lying under oath and claiming not to recall what he clearly knew. And I don't know who you consider serious scholars, but I suggest looking beyond theology departments that exist based on continued superstition.
