This is one of the biggest problems in our country today. It's not just adults doing drugs-but children, too. Doctors today are too quick to medicate any thing they see. And most of the time the side effects of the drug that people and children use are far greater then the problem that it's meant to treat.
There are alternative medicines people can use. I have no problem against medicine-but a lot of the medicines out there are taken off the market because they end up killing people instead of helping them.
So many people have died from taken drugs that should help them. If we can't trust our doctors then who can we trust? And all of the pain killing drugs have the worst kind of side effects; addiction, queasy stomach, and all too often-death.
These pills end up being sold on the street to people whom have become hooked on them. This is the short end of medicating people who don't need medicine. If you can't buy it in a store then don't buy it.
Doctors have given their word that most medicines are safe-but a lot of them end up wrong. And the medicine they put their name on gets recalled. A pill that is meant to help bad arthritis has killed people.
And the number of its victims are in the double digits now. Rehab centers are helping but enough over all. The number of drug-addicted people in this country is in the millions now. And the number keeps getting higher.
And it's with people you know and love-but you can't always see it, though. Your neighbor may be going down to the bad side of town every week to buy painkillers for his "back".
But this leads right into meth, cocaine, and many other deadly drugs. If you do know of someone who may be doing this, try to help him or her, or get him or her into a Rehab center. This may be one of your children someday.
So try to help anyway you can.
