Talks about the changes that are going in the United States and how we as individuals American need to enjoy what we have in the present; before things change completely.
My, my, my, how this World is changing before our eyes; as an individual American, can this be seen? When it relates to our own country, do you see what you have to do, to make things better, right where you stand? Do you see how “Religious” organizations are being viewed, and challenged; the way the Constitution is being ignored by those who actually determine what happens in our Society? The foundation of the country seems to be established in Debt -- everyday TV commercials show this. (How can paying by a Credit Card, be better than paying by Cash?) The land itself is being sold off to individuals who live in foreign lands; our borders left wide open, though “We The People” are being told that we're being protected; much of the military is gone to far away lands. Even the value of our All Might Dollar, is becoming less and less; while gas is going up and up in price, for what ever reason that is given. (A shortage on gas has been a tale, for years.) Topping it off, our way of life, as a system, is being slowly drawn into a new form of Government, through World Wide Oneness. (The togetherness that is being created with Canada and Mexico is an example; with an International Freeway running through it -- that is owned by someone in Europe.) As individuals Americans, what can we do?
When it comes down to crushing that foundation of debt this country seems to be established upon, we each personally need to eliminate our personal debt, by living within our means. To many Americans are spending, based on their personal wants; most of it not being needed, just wanted. Hey, you don't have to have everything you desire; to many people in this country (30-40 million) and the World, don't have anything, barely getting by - they are living in poverty.
As Americans, we need to stop killing each other off; prejudice ways and thinking, needs to come to a halt from color to color, religion towards religion. (Just to get the list started) I am sure each person can think of many things this country needs to do, to get things right.
Yet, I do know there's one thing each and every person in this country needs to do; it doesn't matter what they are going through, it doesn't matter what they have through their riches; it doesn't matter what state they live in, it doesn't matter how poor they are; and that is, we need to stay focus in the reality of today, because this is all we have. As Americans, we need to control our thoughts, so we can grow as individuals and as a Nation. We need to start treating each other with respect, because all we have when everything is all said and done is Each Other. So America, live in this Day, enjoy what is here, because our Tomorrows are changing fast as a Country. What we have and can do now, may not be in the future; because our Nation is changing right before our eyes.
Hi fellow writer, this is a very thought provoking article. Oh that we would listen to your words. The writ of Habeus Corpus was taken away while we as Americans were busy elsewhere. We all need to wake up to what is happening as you state, before our very eyes. Take care.
