Though we may want to be modernized, much of the very important values of our traditions have been neglected that has brought about moral rot in the society. We have adopted a very negative side of the western life that has, and will continue to have a much far reaching effect in the societies.
Tradition, is only good when its values promotes the dignity of its occupants, but we have to accept that its absence will be felt in not only in the minute community but also to the broader part of the country's living. Most practices viewed in the society as immoral has resulted from the western way of adopting negative cultures into the society and in this order of moral decay, prostitution will not be something that is to be wished away as it currently contributed to a higher percentage in the moral rot in the society.
Prostitution, to many, is just but a usual form of enterprise which is actually so booming to the indulging people who do not have to sweat for any yield but only spends the day a compulsory off from their usual night business. What remains out behind our minds is what makes people indulge in this form of a most risk enterprise? Well, much of the blame has currently been shifted to our beloved, beautiful ladies, who find themselves a bird in hand in the form of the partnership.
More so, our girls and ladies, who contribute most to this moral decay in the society, need not to be blamed due to the burning issues of economic distresses. I might be accused of supporting this form of vice but I do not actually, but it seems most countries have accepted and are in the processes of legalizing the form of a doomed culture that has no base of building but destroying the society and also the country.
Why do most countries push for immoral legality? It is seemingly because they do not mind of the future generation but only what matters is the tax contributions to the government though much of its tax contributions is indirect and probably, on considering the gender imbalances where there more females than the males, the second point need not to mind to anybody as it is, but just, a balance of nature.
Much of this self-auction form of business has been contributed by so many factors that do not leave behind the mode of dressing in our ladies and girls. The availability of hipsters and miniskirts, have really made them run mad in the matter of impressing their opposite sexes who are the men, who view them as a bait to satisfying their aggressive social egos. Though women in particular, are viewed as being economically dwarf, they are much more becoming part of he social rotting of our society even though they are pushing for equality, with their fellowmen, this would definitely disqualify them. Finally, this verge will only be stopped if we review the most constructive part of our traditional customs and norms.
I enjoyed reading your article.
To me, the greatest decline in moral standards in recent years has come in the explicit nature of image and language of TV programmes. But, it seems to sell, and anything that makes money isn\'t going to stop overnight.
Prostitution is considered to be the oldest profession in the world - and is prevelent in every society and has been throughout history. I don\'t think anything has changed in terms of numbers of prostitutes to indicate a moral decline, it probably appears that way as these issues are widely reported in the media - so we are more aware of them today than ever before.
Many attempts to stamp out prostitution simply havn\'t worked, and often, the men and women in these professions are extremely vulnerable - as are their clients from potential disease.
All attempts to stop prostitution havn\'t worked, therefore a different approach has been taken, to legalise and therefore protect those individuals who are often on the outskirts of society.
However, I accept your point that there is therefore a conflict as to whether this is an advance in the morals of society - or a retrograde step.
