Share the Wealth

Is America ready to share the wealth? Are Americans greedy?

A man saw an opportunity to ask a question. He has a chance to buy the business that he works for but if he does and he's successful, it will raise his income and he will be affected by taxes.

He was told that the taxes were part of the plan to "Share the Wealth".

Isn't that what Lenin, Mao, Ho and Castro have said. They want to "SHARE THE WEALTH" and make it even for everyone.

Taxes in this country need to be changed but the way it is done now stinks and it's not fair to anyone.

If you make $10, you pay $2 or 20%. But if you make $20 you pay $7 or $8 dollars.
Why would you want to work to make that extra money if you have to give almost half or more to taxes?

Because we have 45% that does not pay taxes in this country and they have to get some money somehow so we need to "Share the wealth".

Now this poor guy that asked the question, claiming he was a plumber has been found out that he is not a licensed plumber. The Plumber's Union wants him barred or fired from his working place. The Democratic Party is screaming that he was a shill put in by the McCain campaign. They are investigating his past trying to find dirt on him to dismiss him as a plant and that he's not even a real plumber nor is he going to be working any more if the

Party has their way.

All he did was ask a question.

Small Businessmen are the backbone of this country. If a businessman makes $250,000 it's because he has over forty people working for him. He has a payroll of over half a million dollars a year. He's paying another half million in hospitalization and benefits as well as paying another half-million to the Government for payroll, social security, Medicare taxes and so forth for his employees. And out of that he managed to pay himself a decent wage.

He takes home the problems of the company every night. He will die earlier than most of his employees because of the stress of having the business.

Now, he has to live with the idea that he has to "Share the wealth". He might be able to hire one or two more employees that are out of work, maybe raise his sales by 10 or 15% more a year but if he has to worry about the tax situation and how much more he's going to have to pay, it might be better to just stay at the level he's at and not hire those others. Do not grow. Do not try to prosper. Do not give jobs to unemployed workers. Stagnate and just live with what you have and don't go any higher.

What is the American Dream?
To, SHARE THE WEALTH?

No, the American dream is much more than that.
We sometimes lose sight of things like this.

Simple things really things that mean something to all of us. Family, God, Country.
These are simple things yet, they are so much to each of us. These are the things that men are willing to fight over and to protect with their lives if necessary.

To raise our families to the best of our abilities.
To worship our God in our own way.
To defend our country and the things it stands for against domestic and foreign enemies.
I have taken this oath twice in my past, and each time I think of these words, I am proud to have stood there and raised my right hand and say the words.

"I, ________, do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.''
I believe in hard work and education. For you see I come from Immigrant Parents who learned early on that the secret to this Country is Education. With Education and Hard Work, there are no doors closed to anyone.
I also live by the motto of the SAS one of the best Special Forces unit in existence. HE WHO DARE'S WINS.

In business you have to be willing to Dare.
As Americans we have always been willing to Dare.
Our History is full of daring decisions.
Washington crossing the Delaware in the middle of Winter was one of the first daring moves by our leaders. The thought of crossing frozen waters and to attack the enemy on Christmas Day was completely out of the British and Hessian mind thought.
The idea of letting our last few carriers in the Pacific to play hit and run against the Japanese Empire after the disaster of Pearl Harbor was crazy.
Landing troops behind enemy lines and capture a port city in the backyard of the enemy such as Inchon was a major decision.
It's in our blood.
On and on our History not only militarily but political as well is full of daring decisions. We are ready to have some more at this time. We are not ready to just crumble in defeat against anything.

SHARE THE WEALTH is not part of the American Psyche.
You want something in this life, you work for it.
No one gives you anything in this country.
You work for everything you want in life.
Look at the countries that have tried the Share the Wealth Philosophy and see where they are at today.

SHARE THE WEALTH is not the answer. A fare taxation is the answer.
Anyone making less than fifty thousand dollars a year should pay no taxes in this country. Everyone making over fifty-thousand pays a straight 20% on everything they make. Nothing is written off, no mortgages, no cars, no boats, nothing. Just straight 20% of everything you make over $50,000.00.

The Lawyers and Accountant Lobbyist in Washington will never let that happen. It would mean the end to a lot of wealthy Lawyers and Accountants and they definitely don't want to SHARE THE WEALTH.
