Skull and Bones

Secrets are Powerful for a lay man.

Secret Societies and the authentication of their convoluted rituals need much musing and logical interrogation before pronouncing them as “ factors influencing the world order”. Numerous writers akin to Robbin have been assiduously toiling to reach the core of the truth behind the formation of such societies, if I am not wrong, out of mystification that has run through our veins like blood. At one point we find the author of a particular “secret society book”, vociferating the “harsh secrecy policy” of the rituals of the society, and on the other hand, we find enough data in the same chapter that can suffice or even stimulate our sense of mystification; surely through the unveiling of the same “harsh secret policies”.

I am not denying the existence of secret societies; I am only putting light upon the corrupted information that is handed down to the con man via conspiracy theorists and mystified researchers. Skull and Bones does exist, but it would be immature to claim the potency and immensity of their influence on world scenarios'. Robbin, a writer of a "secret society book", writes that the members of Skull and Bones are “sworn” to secrecy. Well then how has anyone ever been able to point out the names of its members? Both the “Bush's” have been mentioned as it's members but it is also factual that the three generations of the “Bush's” (that includes “uncle senator” also) have remained patent and haughty about their association with Skull and Bones. So let us now unravel the knots of bafflement by eliciting queries out of the facts that we know.

Can the three generations of the Bush family belong to Skull and Bones if they are actually sworn to secrecy?

If yes, then what becomes of the “pledge of secrecy” held by its members?

One possibility certainly belies the other possibility.

Let us ponder on a few other aspects. The secret “windowless” tomb exists on the Yale Campus whose inner activities are supposed to be kept “secret”. Would I be at fault to tag this entertaining fact as a “windowless Secret”? No one in years, according to our “secret society book authors” has endeavored to trespass the circumference of the tomb. I being logical, absolutely fail to fathom why an author would deem to challenge the irrevocable human tendency of curiosity? Would we, as plain Homo sapiens, not be disposed towards unlocking the sinister box of secrets that reposes openly on our tables? But, to be a trifle more objective, let us throw the same light upon another option. Can it be not possible that the authors of secret society books are not challenging the undeniable human tendency of curiosity, but are actually “manipulating” it?

It is certainly not healthy for our mental faculties to buy theories that are sold to us in hard copies or paperbacks. We must develop a habit of punctuating data with “why” and “how” before sanctioning “acceptance” to concepts sold in dollars, pounds or even rupees. It is not just Skull and Bones; the bells of inquisition should ring for every such bizarre notion that we are indirectly requested to accept, either willingly or inadvertently. We should remember that it is not priceless parched documents, papyrus rolls and vellum sheets from antiquity carrying unspoiled data that we are handling at bookshops; it is classic paper with a “price tag” on it.

You must by no means consider me unappreciative. I do thank the “Assassins”, “ The Templars”, “ The priory of Sion”, “The Druids and Gnostics”, “The Kabbalah”, “The Rosicrucians”, “The Wicca”, and off course, “The Skull and Bones” for enthralling mankind for centuries and nourishing our famished chasms of animation. Guess the famous Italian medievalist, philosopher and novelist Umberto Eco wasn't having a hangover when he said that “The more things you know, or pretend to know, he more powerful you are. It doesn't matter if the things are true.

What counts, remember, is to possess a secret.”
