The recent global recession has paved the way for the emergence of a new world order wherein countries like China, India and Brazil will play a major role.Even oil giants like Venezuela and certain central Asian republics will have their say.The rebounding of Russia and its spreading influence in central Asia will leave the erstwhile economic giants like US, EU and Japan on the sidelines. The likely unification of the Koreas in future would also be a matter of great interest.The UN norm on the permanent membership of Security Council will also see a paradigm shift sooner than later as the US dominance or the unipolar world concept will also wane away, resulting in the formation of new power centres.
It is said that goverments including ours are affecting such things as weather,news media, world hunger, money and our current economic crisis. Go toWWW. In recent news the words "North American Union" (also on YouTube) has come to th forefront in reference to linking the United States, Mexico, and Canada. This started when NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) was signed.
Everything that comes about in the form of change is done in a graduated process. This is so that people will have time to digest it and become immune from the shock. The daily dose of change is supported by media and goverments. This year Americans voted for change, but did they know what kind of change they were getting. What they did not know is that change was coming wether they voted for it or not. My advice is simple, use all your resources to stay informed. This will give you some peace of mind and some direction!
