One believes that it is necessary to protect every person's right to free expression, to provide self-protection, to worship or not worship whatever God or gods one desires, to protect against unlawful search and seizure and the rest of the bill of rights.
There is another world that exists alongside this traditional one. It pledges allegiance not to the concept of a nation and culture that promotes human freedoms but one that swears total allegiance to another concept. It recognizes a universality of mankind under a solitary ideology that allows for no diversity. It forbids such a liberal concept as established by the United States Constitution and the Bill of Rights. It thinks nothing of spending all its' energies into destroying what is good and beneficial in the United States under the guise of moral superiority.
It was once said by Abraham Lincoln that "...a house divided against itself cannot stand". He would know this fact very well since he attempted to stop this other world of America from enslaving an entire race. He was murdered for this by an assassin who believed that some should remain demeaned and captive forever because of their differences.
My question to you is this; which world do you live in ?
