Two Worlds We All Must Share

Looking at life in a completely different way.

Each and every one of us has two worlds. The first world I speak of is the one we ALL know. This is the world we live in, work in, eat in, socialise in. The second world is accessible to each and every one of us, twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. Ninety seven point three percent of "normal" people do not access this world. Some call it our imagination.

We are given drugs to stop us entering this world... haloperidol, diazepam, largactil. Personally, I think this is a serious faux-pas and makes it even easier to enter the second world. This second world is extremely real. The two point seven percent of the population who do access this world would agree with me wholeheartedly. Unfortunately, the majority of the "other" people label us as being lunatic, insane, eccentric, idiot-savant, even schizophrenic. I am here to tell you they are WRONG!!!

This second world is where the pure genius of music, art, writing, poetry, sculpture, etc., etc, ad infinitum, comes shining through like a beacon of light on a storm-wracked sea. My own world is populated with fairies, pixies, elves, dark elves, gnomes, goblins, orcs, ogres, wizards and witches (both black and white), dragons, demons, devils, right the way through the gamut to the most God-awful, foul, disgusting being anybody could imagine. And they all have names and personalities.

My world is so populated with beings, that NO film can scare me. My imagination is always working, and overtime at that! No other person on this planet can share the same concept and ideas as we who populate this second world. My mind opens doors that are not in existence to open, whilst reading.

I now live on a 5 acre farm, surrounded by acre upon acre of National Parkland. There are no street lights. I have a gas light. I have a solar light. I have a gas stove. The only sounds around me are from wildlife... birds, wombats, kangaroos, wallabies, koalas, snakes and possums. This is fantastic food for feeding the imagination to the point where you almost go into sensory overload.

And this, dear friend, is where the music, pictures, books, art, and good films come from. I think we owe it to society to live within this second world as much as we can.

I think we owe it to society to introduce as many people as we can to this creative world!
