What is purpose? If it is what we are told then I feel everyone has a purpose. For some it may just be simply helping other to achieve their purpose, but some have bigger meanings, bigger purposes. I will not pretend to know my own destiny, not yet, but I do think I am meant for a bigger destiny.
I don't believe in fate, to do so is to believe you cannot make your own choices and that is something I will never do. I believe my decisions will have consequences, however if I choose a different decision I will have a different outcome, a different consequence. But there are those among us who do believe in fate and that is their own choice. It would seem the only thing that is certain in life is death.
I do not fear death, I used to, but now I see it is just something that we all must do.
However I will not lie and say my life is without fear, we are all human and therefore I feel fear is just one of those things that make us what we are, as is the ability to lie. To lie is to deny someone of the truth; such an action can be the result of a lack of trust, but yet, is there need to lie to someone whom would not be better from simply knowing the truth. I know from experience that those who have lied to me have been worse off because of it, whereas had persons in question simply been honest I may have initially been hurt, but overall would have respected them for trusting me with the truth. And yet, they say their reason for lying was to save me from harm, another of those things that make us who we are - caring.
Why do we care for people? Some people say the reason we care for others is because we need to, so we can keep our faith. Without faith we are nothing, without faith how can we survive? But is it not possible to survive without faith? Is it not possible to survive without love, or are love and faith the same? Perhaps not in every context but love does fuel faith, love drives us to do things we would not normally do, it gives us the strength and courage to do things other people find stupid, but would they not do the same were they in the same situation. No one can tell you when you're in love, if you're in love then you can tell. It cannot be forced; it cannot be snatched away so suddenly, it is just there.
