Many of you have heard of a chick magnet but have any of you heard of a kid magnet? Answer the Kid Magnet Question in my comments. Most people haven't heard of a kid magnet and when they do, their mind goes away from the truth of the phrase. The phrase is from my own mind but it has as much reality in the world as chick magnet does. I should know not just because I made the phrase, but because I am a kid magnet. A kid magnet is when a person is the center of attention when there are children in the room.
A kid is a person of about 3, 4, or 5. Every time the kids see that person, they always want to talk to him/her, or do anything they can just to be with that person. I don't know why it works like this, but kids tend to like certain people. If you put kids in a room with nothing but me and another person they will more then likely come to me. My mom-mom's family come over with there kids, the kids stay in a room with me, my mom-mom, and their parents. They will almost always come over and start talking to me; they would follow me where ever I go. I don't get why some people are Chick magnets and other people are Kid magnets, which is just how things work.
Great article! I think kids can spot grown ups who are 'kids at heart'. Growing up, I lived across the street from an elementary school. I came home for xmas vacation one day and the doorbell rang. It was a few kids, aged 5-7, wanting to know if my step-father was home. They wanted to know if he could come out to play :) Everywhere we went, if there were kids, he was their new best friend. It was amazing to see how attached to this man they would get. You are blessed!!
