Our Society of Today... Or What It Seems to be

Relating what society is beginning to do or what it will do if we don't change...

Many times us humans go throughout our lives just “going through the motions” type of way. We take almost everything for granted and we hardly realize what selfish lives we are living. But we rush through life not noticing the little things in life. Things like that little kitten stranded in a box or the little bird that's hurt and is calling for help. People just don't notice these things because they do not make it a priority to help someone who is having trouble.

The two-faced liar called- temptation

Temptation can ruin a person in a blink of an eye. Temptation encircles us everyday at anytime. We look around and we think not pure thoughts, but rather dirty thoughts. Why? Because that is the way society has issued itself to the world. Back in Renaissance times or early periods of time, society was different. Society back then was simplistic, rather pure, and just easier to live in. There was virtually nothing to tempt the public into doing bad things. The media, TV, internet, all tempts us to do bad things and think bad thoughts. Not all media, but most media.

Society today vs. Society back then

Society today is such a disaster that there is really no way we can fix it. Society is filled with so much hate, crime, publicity, carnage, that people would think it is nearly impossible to live a pure life in a society like we have today. Wrong. It is possible. I am living more of a pure life everyday in society. Its all about the mind set. Back in the day, the people had different thinking patterns. For example, they cared more about raising a family because that was a big deal to them. They didn't have time to think about the other vulgar thoughts that go through people's minds today. I am not accusing everyone of these such thoughts, but mainly society itself. Some people can look past these thoughts and ignore them. I have taught myself to handle such thoughts.

Outcome

There are ways people can block that sort of awful thinking. Think positive. Its really simple. When people think negative thoughts, they are using the same energy that could be used to think positive thoughts and using the energy instead to think negatively. This is unhealthy for a lot of people especially older people. Besides, you will feel horrible all the time, not full of energy, angry, and depressed. If people keep thinking like this and acting this way, they are going to teach the next generation to be just like that. You don't want your kids growing up to be selfish, rude, and vulgar. Remember, I am not judging anyone on how they raise their kids or how they live their life. I am just pointing out if society keeps on like this, that is how they will end up. I am writing this article as a warning: Society has been going downhill for a long time. If we don't stand up for what is right and moral, then it will keep going downhill and eventually crash. Think carefully in life because it matters...
