The effects of technology upon society can inflict on their daily lives because of all the benefits it can give such as television. Mostly everything that comes out of your television set people listen to which is why TV stations take advantage of their viewers.
They usually over exaggerate by expanding their stories on news broadcasts to receive higher ratings and so more and more people would tune in to watch them. Also the radio is another way people depend on their news especially in the 1920's when only a few people owned radio stations which limited society's views on things but as more people were broadcasting, those limited ideas became endless in so many different ways.
Another way technology has affected people is by how many different ways you can do one thing like sending mail. You can send someone mail through a letter, computer, or cell phone and most people take advantage of these opportunities.
With cell phones now you could text message which distracts people from what they are doing that can later cause problems like if your texting while driving, are in school, or on the job. So as you can see there are many ways society can be affected by technology but things would be much better if they didn't cause as much problems as they do now.
