Dreams: The Most Fascinating Truth

We all see dreams. We all have different interpretations. Check in to find the solution of few queries which might be related to your dreams.

A word “DREAM” which itself creates fascination in minds of millions of people across the world. So, just think how fascinating it would be to read about it, to know its deepest mysteries, to conquer it, to control it, etc.

There are several questions arises in the minds of the researchers and other enthusiastic of this topic.

I'm also one, who is enthusiastic about this topic. Even I have a question which I would like to discuss with you all and give my possible interpretation.

But before this let me tell you about the dream I see so that it is easy for you all to understand my question.

I sometimes have dreams of me living in a real world dealing with several problems of future. Since, still I'm a student so I see dreams about my career and several related aspects which mainly show the negative aspect of this world.

Now, since it's generally related to my career so my main goal is to move up the ladder to be a successful person. With this in mind, a movie in my dream starts and I just watch it like a spectator whose body responds according to my real self image shown in the movie.

When there are good times, I feel that my body is calm but when there is tension, thrill, excitement, etc my heart beat increase, I even sometimes start sweating, etc. my body responds exactly the way I would have probably responded in my real life.

Some of scenes of my movie sometimes appear similar to scenes of any commercial movie. This gives me a sense of “deja-vu” within my dreams. From this point onwards the story tends to become more complex as reel and real life experiences starts to mix each other this causes me to somewhat loose track of the situation as the events now pass at very fast rate making it almost impossible me to understand it. The only way to get some understanding is to rely on my real life experiences which my brain brings into play.

However, one thing I have observed that when the real life experiences come into play for keeping track of my dreams then some other things simultaneously happen as follows:

  1. I start getting a feeling that I'm in a dream. However, not fully sure. Just a feeling which begins to develop.
  2. I also start getting some feel of my increasing heart beat and sweating
  3. The events are running at the top of their speed

Now, after a very short time only I generally see myself landing up in a situation of which I have no clue of how to escape. Now, the situation can either be abstract or real. I couldn't understand much about the fact that how I land up in such situation since some of last events are missed out by my mind's recording instrument.

However, once I land up in such a situation I become fully aware of the fact that it is dream and I can also feel a high heart beat, sweating, etc.

Sometimes the solution of the situation is their but I can't apply because it doesn't suit my character and once this point creeps up in my mind I get a feeling that now my brain is trying to divert me from the original dream.

Now, three cases arise:

  1. My brain can successfully divert from the dream to take me to another dream
  2. My brain might not be successful in diverting. Such thing happens if the dream is too frightening or involving, my mind tend to comeback to this original dream. However if this situation arises, then it mostly happens that I wake up.
  3. My brain tries to divert but I do not want to divert. This happens when I began to feel that I can solve this problem.

In the first two cases, I don't remember what happens next.

But, when third case happens then something unusual happens.

If this happens then next some of the events which happens to me are somewhat controlled by me.

Now, to make my dream continue I had to get rid of the troublesome situation. However till now whatever dream I have encountered I have never been able to get rid of the problem.

What to do to continue the movie?

This is when I rewind the movie to choose an event where I can make some alterations so as to avoid the problem. It appears to me a kind of “Artificial Manipulation” by me to remove the glitch from the movie.

After that, my movie continues smoothly (I assume, since after that I generally don't remember what happens to it).

My questions and its possible answers:

  1. Why I land up in such a situation that I can't find its exit route because we tend to see answers to our problems in our dreams rather than the new questions?

Answer:

I think that this situation has much to do with my brains inability to keep up with the pace of my movie. However, this reasoning does not satiate me, but can't think of anything else.

   2.  Why is it that when I wake up, I don't remember anything properly or clearly about my dream except what I have stated above in my description?

Answer:

I think that this is because of the fact that I do a re-evaluation of my dream to solve the problem and hence giving my mind a chance to record some of the key facts of my dream. Probably after solving the glitch my mind would have become little bit more cautious in further events so that I do not land up again in any such trouble and hence no further re-evaluation and hence no availability of the facts which my mind can records.

Although, these are the only possible answers I sought, I feel that there is much more than this to explain such happening.

Probably from this you can get an idea of how weird or fascinating your dream can go. There are almost limitless things which can happen in your dream; this is just one of those cases.
