How Can People Say There is No God?

God's creation of his universe. Explaining how I believe we can see is face and feel his presence in everything he has made.

I cannot understand why people say there is no God. Oh yes... I can understand why people may say that, when they know that God isn't visible to the naked eye. People are always more likely to believe things they can see, rather than things they can't.

But I can see God in many things, so could you, if you looked closely enough. But I am not trying to be corny at all. It's just that... Have you looked at a snowflake? Each snowflake is unique. Snowflakes are really just slivers of ice, which fall from the sky when the weather conditions are just right, so why do we see such intricate designs in them? There is no reason for the unique, intricate pattern of every snowflake, except that something - someone - is responsible for making it, and he wants us to realize this.

I can see God in all of creation. Each blade of grass, each leaf, each flower is unique, and of course, so are we. Our DNA is still not fully understood but there is the pattern of the makeup of whom and what we are, in every cell of our body.

When you look at it this way, you begin to realize that we can see the face of God in all of creation. He does not allow us, yet, to see him in person, but he lets us see him in the things he has made.

He made the universe. Okay, so there was a' Big Bang' which started things off. A lot of Christians think you cannot believe in a Big Bang, and also believe in the creation, but I disagree. I think the fact that creation started with a bang, when the universe was thrown out to all corners, actually proves God's existence even more. Just think. If the Big Bang was just a random event without design or purpose, why is it that the Earth, Sun, The Moon, and other planets in our Solar System are exactly the right size and the right distance apart? If the Sun was any closer, we would burn up! If the moon was any bigger, or if we had more than one moon as other planets have, the tides would have flooded the Earth. If the other planets, like Jupiter or Saturn were any bigger, they would affect our planet and possibly pull it out of orbit. With all this in mind, if the Big Bang was just a random explosion with no purpose or guidance, how would you explain the fact that everything is in the right place?

There is much discussion these days about 'DARK MATTER'. What is it? Why does it exist? One thing that has been proved is that, without it, the universe would loose cohesion and all the planets and stars would just collide with each other. There has to be something keeping the universe together. I believe that God is behind it all.

I also do not believe in life on other planets. If this was the case we would have found out about it by now. I love Science Fiction as much as the next person, but I don't believe we'll be meeting the Klingons or the Vulcans any time soon. With technology like The Hubble Telescope which can look at other galaxies, we would have seen something, a planet that could support life, if anything existed. I also don't believe that we have been visited by aliens. If we had, with the technology available today, the visitation could not be kept secret. Someone would find out and it would be all over the papers, with photos to prove it.

You do not have to agree with me. That is your decision. But I do hope you will think about what I said and the next time you walk in the woods, or look up at the sky, at the clouds, or at a rainbow. If you look up at the heavens and see the stars and the planets, all in there right places. I hope you will look closer and realize that it was all made by God.
