The potent power of spoken words is so great that in courtship words can in fact take the heart away. In real life situations simple criticisms and sarcasm would actually harm meaningful relationships, so much so that Solomon, the wise, warns against the imprudent use of the tongue.
Perhaps if Paris was diplomatically eloquent and Helen, less expressive the great Trojan War would have been averted. And perhaps, too, had Hitler been less adept with the tongue the great debauchery of the war in Europe would have not ensued. Specifically, there would not have been the final solution and the holocaust.
Time and again, the glib tongue when employed by the evil mind causes harm and suffering. Swindlers defraud speculators into dire poverty. White slavers seduce young women into a life of prostitution. Deluded and charismatic leaders intoxicate the lives of cultists into the quicksand of blind following. And social agitators brainwash innocent and peace-loving young people into violent anarchists. Such is the power of this resonant organ.
The glib tongue is also at work even among the musicians. There are musicians who espouses evil coated with rock music. With today's technology, back masking can be achieved with subliminal messages hidden in the supposed lyrics. When these musicians perform on the stage, the spectators shriek ecstatically in a mass display of pleasure. It is as if the audiences are one great body caught up in an orgasmic titillation.
The glib tongue of evil businessmen have brought even nations to its dire straits. Along with cavorting politicians they influence policy-making that is anti poor and even spark the fuse for economic sabotage. After which, they can easily bolt the country and start investing somewhere incognito.
Slanderers, oral defamers and detractors; they shamelessly tell on others for different benefits. They have used their creative powers in destroying their fellowmen instead. Here are some more of the typology of these evil men and women who can easily pass for initiates in the course of perdition:
The Fault Finder - this person makes use of acute observation skills in finding faults in others. Rabid with such a tendency he would rather invent one or two if he does not find any fault.
The Imposer - given an imposing social stance, this persons imposes his will on others, either by portraying himself as a victim that is if the person before is better or as judge whose perfect assessment of the other person is unquestionable.
The Retriever - this person doggedly inquires into different things in order to retrieve “information” which is helpful to him. This inquisition has a ready stance in fostering intrigues that can put his fellowmen down.
The Professional - this person operates in a manner by which he could easily earn from the gossip he unravels. As a rumor monger, he sells the bad image of people to the community without hesitation under the licentious that “the people have the right to know”.
The Fellatia - this verbal succugus resorts to lewd and lustful talk in order to flatter the male ego in order what she likes.
The Cunnilungo - the verbal incubus who is apt to give indecent and lustful remarks in order to please the female victim.
The Pleaser - this person is a fence sitter. He does not have any stance on any issue but will always confirm or affirm any statement made before him in order to please the other person. In so doing, he does not check any mistake and contribute to the making of an injustice.
The Tattler - is a storyteller although he stories are meant to entertain, he does not regard the feeling of others or if he has done any injustice at all. He will tactlessly weave a story that is full of excitement even if it is unfounded.
The Experimenter - this person makes up a story or tells on another person just to start on intrigues or see how the business would react to the story. Experimenters are insensitive to their fellowmen because they only needed their own excitement.
The Halitosis - this person is someone who has the habit of badmouthing anybody he meets. He resorts to cuss words, invectives or even hexes. Symptomatic of a desperate soul, he is the best candidate to be an initiate to the course of perdition. Worst, his presence makes others liable to all kinds of verbal abuses.
The typology presented above are simple enumeration of people who tend to use words to their advantage except that in so doing, they generate negative reactions and produce unpleasant condition for others. They are only using words but these are enough to make other people miserable.
