It is of my opinion that Political affairs should be moderately secularized, there is nothing wrong with speaking of and taking as fact religion, in normal life but to bring it into government is really unfair.
In schools today religion is a subject taught, I don't have a problem with that, however it is thought from a purely Christian point of view in most schools and I see this as being really unfair.
In a way they are telling the Christian story with most reverence and more thoroughly and in-depth than the stories of all other religions. They are impressing upon people that Christianity is the most important and mainstream religion.
Students who are Atheist have to write essays on Christianity in a style that makes it out to be the truth, even if they don't believe what they are writing. If the student writes that Christianity is all a lie and there is no god they will get no marks and probably get in a lot of trouble. This is not the way modern society should be, government have to ensure that in schools all religions be taught in the same detail and from a passive point of view.
In conclusion the teaching of religion in schools should be totally changed, or be removed from the curriculum
