Basically, it is where our immortal memories of each of our soul lives (existence) resides. (This is not the same as a past life regression, where you are visiting a specific life or desired life to find answers or discover who you were)
Spiritual Regression acts like a bridge between this life time and the spirit world and involves using deep somnabuslic hypnotic techniques, in order, to move your mind back in time to your transition phase in the spirit world.
It is only when we enter the spirit world or gateway as it is sometimes known, that spiritual exploration really begins, as it is at this point you begin to go on your pathway to either explore your afterlife experiences, met with your soul companions, spirit guides, deity, angels etc or choose to discover your life purpose for this lifetime.
It is through a spiritual regressionist that you can begin to explore your afterlife, however, I do need to point out that the spiritual regressionist does need to be a trained Hypnotherapist with some knowledge or qualification in past life regression. This is necessary due to abreactions or traumas, that may occur during or after the therapy.
Most regressionist, myself included tend to be psychic or a least have a sixth sense. However, this is not always the case and is not necessary, but it does help.
The role of the spiritual regressionist is to aid the client by managing and focusing the clients visualizations, in order to bring all necessary information or wisdom to the forefront of the mind.
The regressionist also helps th client to cope with duality of the mind, refining and adjusting the spiritual phases, in order to guide a safe passage for their mental journey to the spirit world. (In regression this is called mapping)
When the client enters the spirit world it is then down to the client to conduct their experiences and relay them to the regressionist verbally, in turn the regressionist will then begin to record the session either with written notes or recording onto tape/cd.
When the client is in this stage it can sometimes be upsetting and confusing, expecially if it is their first journey and they are beginning to see their afterlives unfold within their minds eye, as many people have difficulty in accepting their own truth's.
Spiritual regression is awesome and life changing, it can put you in touch with your higherself, provide answers to long term problems or issues in this life or help you spiritual evolve, understand yourself or understand others.
