Gratitude is one of essential aspect, which we sometimes forget, for better life. It is expressed in various rites by various religions and various traditions. However, we forget that it will get many benefits if it really comes from the deepest of our heart. Moreover, sometimes, we ignore it when we face the problems in our life.
Not only does the ancient and traditional wisdom recommend it but the modern perspective also suggest people to have it. The modern books, such as The Secret by Rhonda Byrne and The Science and Art of Pranic Healing by Master Choa Kok Sui, state that gratitude is powerful to make better life, especially for healing process.
To feel and express gratitude can also develop better personality then it can be helpful to build better relationship. It can help us to find our strength then develop our self-confidence. Gratitude is one of the gates to harmony, peace and joy. It is part of enthusiasm. The base of enthusiasm is the word “enthusiast”, that is adopted from Latin language “In Theos” that means “in God.”
There are some simple ways to express gratitude:
- Recall a happy event and feel the happiness when you experience it. Remember the time when you are in love and loved by someone. Give thanks to God for that happy event. It will help you to be aware that you are lucky and God always bless you.
- Recall the experience when you when you can achieve your goals or when you find your talent and ability. They may be small things, like when you graduated from high school, or the first time when you are able to ride a bicycle. Be grateful for those small things. It can help you to be aware of your other hidden abilities and stimulate your mind to find new talent.
- Share the joy with others. You can use 10% of your income for charity or contribute your talent to help other. It is also expression of gratitude because we cannot feed the poor people if we think that we are poor and we cannot protect weak people if we think that we are weak. The happiness will be doubled when you share with others.
- State in your mind every time something good happens to you
- Give thanks when you face problem because you learn the lesson to be better in your life. Remember that you have family or friends who love and help you. Remember that God always love and bless you through the lesson. Find anything that you can be grateful even if it is a small thing.
- When you pray, do not forget to give thanks to God
When you express gratitude, you put the tick in your life program option to activate the tools for better life.
