The Vision

A vision that brought with it a very important lesson that all may learn from.

I was sitting at my computer talking with a friend on the internet. We had been talking about Spiritual things and how it can affect a person's life in many ways. I remember that I felt this chill come over me and how even the slightest sound seemed to be very loud and I could hear what appeared to be an echo in my ears. I tried to brush the feeling off and continued to chat with my friend; telling the person on the other end that I was not sure what it was but that I knew I was not alone.

My friend kept saying over and over, Hey are you ok? Who is this? Put mike back on. I tried to reply. But each time I would speak the voice my friend heard was not mine. I knew I was there sitting in my chair, the computer was on and I could see my friend on the video cam but yet no matter how hard I tried to respond, I could not do so in a way that they could understand.

Dragon Family

I felt this weight on both my shoulders as if something heavy had come to rest upon them. Then I could hear a voice speaking directly to my mind and through the haze and what looked like a fog in front of me, it kept saying come.

I remember struggling and saying who are you? What do you want of me? Why must I come with you? Show yourself to me or I will not come with you!

Do not fight with us we want only to show you something, a voice as ancient as time said. Then show yourself I remember thinking. I looked up and through the fog I could see four dragons. The one that kept pushing me forwards through the mist was very large. His scales were a very bright white. Beside him were three other dragon; their colors were red, green and a very sky blue.

The white dragon stared down at me as he pushed me ahead of him through the heavy fog like mist. I was scared as this had never happened to me before. Where is it you're taking me? I asked. You will see soon. The voice replied.

The fog soon disappeared and I found myself standing in the middle of a clearing inside a huge forest. As I looked around, I could see men and women dressed in robes. The men wore brown robes and the women were wearing very white ones. The time was of the past almost like mid-evil in nature as I also could see soldiers of that time and place standing watch from within the trees that surrounded the clearing. The priest and priestesses await you the dragon said. Go to them now. We bring you the Keeper of the thirteen keys and the battle dragon of old. The white dragon said. Then he pushed me forward in the direction of an alter that was surrounded by many crystals, each glowing brightly.

The priest and priestesses would not look directly into my eyes as I move to stand before an alter made of ancient oak. They bowed noblely in my direction and let me pass through the circle that they were now forming around me and the alter. Why do they not look at me? I asked. They seem afraid of me. Where have you taken me? I demanded. You are here because it is your time. The white dragon replied. They do not look into your eyes because they can not look into the eyes of old dragon it they do and they have doubt inside their hearts they can not return and they will be trap within the limbo of light and dark forever. Was the answer to my question.

Upon the alter was a silver chalice inlaid with several sapphires and other precious gems.

The four dragons each removed one a scale from them selves and bleed into the chalice. The circle of priest and priestesses chanted in a tongue that I could not understand but yet it seems almost familiar to me. When I looked into the chalice it was very bright and as soon as I reached out and touched the long stem below its rim, it begin to glow very brightly and from its center a very white beam of light shot upwards towards the heavens.

Drink of it. The white dragon said. The chanting became louder and then it stopped for I did not drink from the chalice. Instead much to my own surprise, I poured it onto the ground. Turning to the dragons I said, take me home please for I can not drink of the chalice yet; it is not my time.

It took me a long time to understand the value of the lesson concerning the vision. The answers were very clear and directed at me and the person that I had become. Dragon medicine is very personal and to the point for no one can solve the riddle or its message but the person that it was given to.

Through meditation I soon discovered what the vision meant and it was indeed very powerful medicine. You see sometimes we are so eager to grow spiritually that we lose site of things that are as much a part in the physical realm as they are in the spiritual realms. We can not have one without the other. I had become so involved with attaining the spiritual side of me, that I forgot to remain in balance. I would spend countless hours studying and as well as meditating. My children never saw me and no longer did I spend the time that was needed with them. I stopped eating and going for walks outside. I remained in the basement on my computer researching and doing readings as well as sending healing energy out to those in need of it.

Soon my children began to hardly see much of me and were not very happy with me. They would say, Dad you can travel all over the world to help others but you can not spend time with us.

Yes this was harsh but it was also very true. The words hurt but I needed to hear it. The message from the dragons was clear and very concise. When one loses balance they can not move forward until they find the proper balance that is needed. You must have equal balance in both worlds physical and spiritual if you are to still climb the ladder to the former glory you were once before. I found that as soon as I brought balance back that everything returned to as it should be.
