Many psychics and spiritual counselors discuss on hundreds of boards and websites how to promote ourselves. We explore practical methods, such as the creation of websites, public forums, affiliate programs, and advertising to gain exposure. However, there are other ways that are perhaps more effective than mere advertising.
Most of us practice the principles of the law of attraction to attract those spirits (human souls) who wish to gain advice from us. We connect to them through a higher level of consciousness. We tap into what they already know or explore where they really need to be in their journey on earth in this lifetime.
Many of us have seen "The Secret." We have even recommended it to our clients (I have anyway). We are learning to apply the principals of changing our thoughts in the "right" direction to create more abundance in our life. The trouble is that film just gives a small portion of what is needed to create the most important abundance. It focuses too much on the MONEY.
Which I feel is part of the problem, the more we hold on to how much we are going to make that day, the less we make sometimes. Other times we focus an amount in our mind and let the desire go, thus manifesting our desire. It works with unwavering faith, if we can muster that up most of the time.
I personally feel that to attract clients we must let go of the worry, let go of the money issue, or how much we need for the month and just trust that the universe will unfold the way it's supposed to. As long as we are on purpose on track and love what we do, it all falls into place.
My affirmation or prayer every morning is simply. "Please let me help someone today. Let me enlighten or empower someone in a humble and loving way." Doing this everyday keeps me stay focused, happy and on purpose. If it turns out to be a bad day, so what, the next moment of my life is always a bit better.
Attracting more clients to us is a truly spiritual exercise. It involves a very simple emotion called love. It's easy to tap into someone's spirit and feel the vibration of true love for them. We do it all the time. Nevertheless, that love also must be extended to each other, to those in similar professions and to those around us.
We must rejoice in each other's accomplishments, and rejoice in what we have to share with the world and each other. This not only creates a strong spiritual environment, but ATTRACTS more clients, more people to love and help. It presents us with a unified front of loving professional workers who are dedicated to helping usher in the Age of Aquarius, by enlightening those who seek it.
