For everyone who feels they need a little spiritual protection and particularly for empaths learning to control their abilities or those people who cannot visualize anything to save their life, this simple little white light shield is very effective.
A white-light shield does not cut out all of the emotions that people broadcast unwittingly however; it protects the wearer from the overload created by absorbing other people's energy and also from being attached to and having their own energies depleted by energy vampires. For those empaths that do not understand their gift or don't have the ability or desire to control it, the shield gives them a safe haven to exist in until they wish to explore it further. The shield can be worn all the time if you feel comfortable doing so, or you can choose only to activate it when you come upon circumstances that challenge you. It is the "thought of a moment" that creates it and though this shield is not designed to separate a person physically or emotionally from others and certainly not from those people that need our help, it can protect us from the energies of those who wish to do us harm on a psychic level and also from those who would seek consciously or subconsciously to draw upon our energies for strength or comfort rather than relying on their own inner supplies.
Creating the shield for the first time
Bring to mind a beam of white light in the shape of an egg located pointy end down in your hand. See the egg pulsating as the light within appears to grow more and more luminous and as the light shines more brightly, make the energy of that egg bigger and see it growing until it is large enough to surround your whole body. Now, notice a door on the side of this egg which is large enough for you to enter through. Open the door and step into the egg, closing the door behind you and seeing it vanish leaving you inside a protective shield extending far above your head and right into the earth underneath your feet. As the light fills the egg see it pushing out and then repelling any negative energy or entity that comes into contact with it and once the area is free from negativity cover the egg in a golden protective shield of criss-cross mesh.
This shield is good because it allows you to "feel, see, and act" within it without limiting your perception however, it does not allow you to receive the negative emotions of others, nor does it allow spiritual attachment to take place. Any energy lines that a wayward spirit might want to connect to you with in order to drain your energies will be repelled and ghosts, unless they are already anchored into your energies, must stay on the outside of the shield.
A Little Added Protection
If you do not feel that the shield and armour is enough, add a moving stream of rainbow light to the outside of your egg. Some of us who do very heavy energy work which can be very negative, have tested this and we find it certainly adds more protection.
The moving energies of the rainbow and the different frequencies created by the different colours, helps to disconnect anything draining and prevents any negative energy anyone or thing, might try and send at you from connecting with your auric field.
