Emo: the Truth and Nothing But the Truth

The truth about Emos and who they really are. Not some stereotypical view.

Hello ladies and gentlemen. Okay, today I will tell you the truth about "True" Emo. Anything you have heard before reading this is probably a lie. Yes, a lie. Why, because it was probably a person with a tiny brain that thought they knew something, but in reality, they fail. Don't hate Emos yet, read on.

What is truly Emo?

Two things: A type of person or a type of music. Simple, yet people are stupid and say otherwise. But I'm telling you, this is it. I will go into further explanation of the two below. Some people also say that it is a type of lifestyle, but I don't think so, I need to research this a bit more.

The Emo Person

Time to rant. People that wear all black and cut are Emo. BUT, the part that bothers me is that most people think that they need to shut up and stop pretending. You should die if you think this. Why? Think about it for 1 freaking second. Why would a person cut? Because they are very sad. Why? Because no one listens to them. Why? Because of people like you who won't listen. Thus they remain sad and if people continue to ignore them they will eventually blow. Now, that makes sense to me right there. They cut and wear black to be noticed as a cry for help. Now stop right here. This is were all the controversy starts. There are people that wear black and cut for attention, not help. This is the type that makes people angry. These types are hated but are confused with the Emo looking for help. It's easy to tell the difference between the two, so no excuses. Help the real Emo, will ya?

The Emo Music

Type of music that Emo's listen to. But it is also good music for us to hear. It gives us a little insight on how they feel. Don't hate it because music is usually what keeps an Emo person going on. They feel like something understands them. Just let them listen to it, and maybe you should try listening once in a while.

Thats about it. Now you know. If you still don't get it, then you fail at life. Try to help people, one way you make the world a better place. Okay, I'm done, bye.

You have yet to make a real case for "Emo's" other than to say some are in it for help and others for attention. The music let's them relate to something, etc..
I really hate to throw this on you, but this fits nearly every teenager since time began, but somehow we now have a new word called Emo. Hippy was roughly the same thing, but most kids now have a completely perverted view of who hippies were and what they were about.

The point.. Every group of youth wants to be original and do something different, but the problem is that it's all been done before. You're just putting a new hat on it. You're calling a rose a leaf or a spade a club. I see no real difference. Sorry. If you want help, just ask. Don't threaten people then demand help. it doesn't work...never has.
