Abortion

As a firm believer that pregnancy begins at conception, I deem abortion wrong.

Abortion is defined as the removal of an embryo or fetus from the womb in order to end a pregnancy. When a woman aborts a fetus, she is taken an innocent child out of this world. She is eliminating the chance for that child to use his/her god given gift to make the world a better place. She is taken away the opportunity for the child to grow and love.

As a person who holds very strong opinions on various subject matters and is willing to dismiss another person view based on my own, I know that many women will rather not have a child because they intent to live the lifestyle that they lived before they got pregnant. The suggestion I have for these women is to have the child and give the baby up for adoption and foster care. Instead of aborting the child, the child can be placed with a family that is devoted to love and care for that child.

Despite the fact that the American Foster Care System is not the best place for a child, it is an option. I have friends who have been raised in the foster care system in America who admits that growing up in foster care has been a blessing in disguise. They revealed to me that through their circumstances, they were able to acquire certain life skills that I have not personally gained as of yet. They are strong, hardworking, ambitious and affectionate. When my friends walk in a room, their verbal and body language says that they are not there to play but to use their intelligence as a way to improve themselves and their surroundings. These skills I have not yet found in anyone else.

As I look around on the faces of my classmates, I can sense the approval for abortion within several of them. I know that some of them want to ask “what if the mother cannot support a child at this moment?” People that ask this question certainly doesn't see the cup half full but half empty. My grandfather always said, “ there is always a way to solve a problem, it's the method that you use that makes the solution okay or not.” With that being said, I would like to propose certain methods as a way for a woman to support her child.

A woman can support her child through government-assisted programs, child support payments and grants that are designated for single mothers. If the methods that I've suggested are not enough, there are non-profit programs that pay for food, rent, and utility. The good thing about these programs is that when the woman is able to provide for her child/children, she doesn't have to pay nothing in return.

Many government officials agree that birth begins at conception but declare the right to a woman to do whatever she chooses to do with her body as a way not to interfere with the controversy behind abortion. If a man kills another man, he goes to jail for murder. If a woman aborts an innocent child, she gets over it and moves on with her life. If birth or should I say life, begins a conception, a woman who aborts a child should be thrown in jail and be charged for murder. What is the difference

I agree with you 100%. i mean you can make the mistake of "letting" it happen, out of passion cause you get caught up in the moment and don't think about it and then boom, awhile later you find out ypur pregnant and then i think you made the mistake and now you have to suffer the consequences or take responsibility for your actions. both the guy and the girl because it take 2 people to make a baby. its not all 1 person and all you men that run away are no better than a rapist. i mean if you think about it you just used her for sex and then just ran the moment you found out you got her pregnant. so you had sex, you be a family and take care of your child no matter what.
