Tsunami Survivor

A swedian tourist was badly injured because of tsunami in Indonesia. Although he still need times to recover, he feel lucky to be able to survive.

Jan R J Boeken, a Swedian tourist, was taken care in VIP room of Al Ihsan Hospital in Bandung West Java. Jan was dragged by the waves of tsunami that happend on July 17th. Because of that Jan suffering bad injury on his neck, arms and feet. According to doctor Krisna Pradanata, Jan can be go home in three days and he will be fully recover in three weeks.

Jan was went to Pangandaran for vacation last Monday. He arrived in Pangandaran three hours before the tsunami strike. At that moment he was sat in front of the hotel with his friends. When the tsunami strike, he ran in to the hotel kitchen but he dragged by the waves. Jan tried to hold anything on that kitchen but he couldnt.

"I was lucky", said Jan." I will not afraid to visit Indonesia once more, Im glad to be here".

Bombeeck, a friend of Jan, hear the news about the disaster from television broadcast. Suddenly he remember that Jan was on vacation in Pangandaran. He came quickly to Pangandaran on Tuesday July 18 to pick Jan up.
