Shut Up, You're So Skinny
No size will ever be perfect, so love what ya got!
Whether we're 100 pounds or 250 pounds, 5'0 or 6'2, no size will ever be perfect enough.
5'2, 90 pounds
Some of us wish we were this size. But what do you say to the girl that's less than 100 pounds? Probably a comment about how she should eat or that she has an eating disorder.
Fact: Not everyone fewer than 100 pounds is an anorexic or makes themselves throw up.
To the 5'2, 90 pound girl: Love your tininess no matter what anyone says! You know you're not anorexic so play up your size and opt for short skirts and form fitting clothes to accentuate your tiny frame. Try high-waisted shorts or pants to make you appear longer and leaner. Avoid capri pants because it visually shortens your legs.
5'5, 170 pounds
There are a lot of us that are probably around this size. Some of us love it, some of us hate it. But what do others think when they see a 170 pound woman walking down the street? Maybe something like "Wow maybe she should stop eating, I bet she eats like a trucker."
Fact: Just because you've got some curves here and there doesn't mean you eat everything in sight.
To the 5'5, 170 pound girl: LOVE YOUR CURVES! That's what being a woman is all about - your sensual curves. Not feeling sexy? Feeling fat? FAT is not in your vocabulary, I believe the correct terms are voluptuous, full-figured and sexy. Play up your curves with vibrant dresses that hug your waist but flow over your tummy. Avoid jersey clothing because it doesn't work for your figure and will most likely bring attention to parts of your body you feel uncomfortable showing as it clings to skin. Also, get toned at the gym by lifting weights to just tone what you already have without losing your curvy figure.
5'9, 125 pounds
Oh what we wouldn't do for this body! What does the average woman think when she sees this tall, thin woman sauntering down the street? Is it something along the lines of "I'm glad I'm not that tall - it must be so weird with a boyfriend"? Or is she just a giraffe that sticks out?
Fact: Boys love tall girls! Just because she's at his level or even taller doesn't make her any less sexy to him! Giraffes are the most sensual and graceful animals on the Savannah.
To the 5'9, 125 pound girl: Love your sky-high legs and thin frame! Come on, how many girls do you know that can pull off that gorgeous, flowing gown without looking lost? Wear form-fitting clothes such as a flowy maxi dress or skinny jeans. Avoid really high heels because you'll probably tower over everyone more than you'd like. Cute flats are a definite must because they're comfy and go with every outfit.
So There You Have It
There are bunch more body types out there but if no one would have time to sit and write them all here. Love what you have! You can't change the body you were born into-but you can change the way you feel about it. If you're depressed about your body and point out your flaws, you're just rubbing that negative energy off on everyone else. Life is too short to obsess over your body because 50 years from now, will it really matter who had the biggest breasts, longest legs or smallest frame? Love what you have because you can't change your body but you can change the way the world (and you!) look at it.
