In our everyday world that we live in, we see many types of people on the streets and know nothing about them. or how their life style had been.
Being a witness as well as a victim of violence in the home can bring about a lot of confusion in making better decisions on imperative things in life. For me it was not having my real father around while growing up, only learning from a stepfather who really had no type of real love and structure in his life and my mother being a whole total different person from a not so violent home but not so loving either; I feel this had a very big impacted on her as a mother. Her choices made a deep overall impact on how I made my choices.
My whole opinion about why some women except abuse from their lover or spouse is because no one wants to be alone. With out a safety net, that person may be giving them
Something they felt they need from this person, for some it's sex for others it's money,
Security, power or controlling that person's mental state of mind. In addition, for most of us women we give over our control to a man.
Until we as women change our way of thinking about our self worth and not giving our control to some one who has no means of controlling himself, or even so his financial and or business matters; we would only still be spinning our wheels.
Stop and think about your life today, is it worth your happiness.
What about your children if you have any, think about them
