From the time at which we can comprehend any knowledge at all until the day we die. We are told that women have less rights than men and that they constantly fight to be treated equal. Now, that's true and all but is it necessary? Or is it just a little much? These questions bring us to today's quote.
“Protest long enough that you are right, and you will be wrong.”-Unknown
Women are as equal as they need to be damn-it! Women are always talking about how they too can be doctors and lawyers and whatever the hell else. And they do it and basically say, “What now men? I'm a doctor AND a woman!” While men on the outside say, “Way to go! Congratulations!” But deep down inside weir thinking, “Ok…this isn't the freakin' 1700's.” It's easier for women to get great college degrees because schools are taught and run by women. Plus it's much easier to sue for sexual harassment or sexism for women than men. Men are afraid of women and for good reason. Men who run companies don't want to go to jail and lose all their money because Sam got a raise and Sara didn't. What if Sam deserved a raise and Sara didn't? That point never holds up in court women get off way too easy in today's society.
Then there's the fact that women fight for rights as a whole. It's stupid, when you fight as a mass it become all about pride and the true meaning of the whole thing disappears and you become just another group of protesters. Why can't women just take care of their own problems? There's no use in protest anymore, they have all their rights. Now it's time to take some personal fucking responsibility and quit hiding behind mobs.
Women, do you have a problem with your paycheck? Go complain to your boss and nothing will happen, welcome to a mans world. Getting harassed? Just hope your spouse doesn't find out because if he does, all of the sudden you're cheating and you have no argument. Mad because you're getting paid less than men? Try having the wage you're used to living off of drop while others rise. That's a mans world. And the reason you women stay so arrogantly dominant is because even through all the bullshit you women give us, we've still got your backs. When the public disagrees with you, you man should be there to back you up against the world even if you are wrong. Later we'll nicely tell you your mistake in private and you'll be offended.
Women, try to understand a mans mind. We're not all about sex and beer. We're about respect, protection and strength. When you're fighting for what you want with your feminist buddies we're left behind with no one to protect. Most men work had and putting sweat into something and working hard as hell is so gratifying, but so stressful. Then to come home to a loving wife and/or family that are there for you to talk to and show you that you really matter to someone is much more gratifying than working all day and providing for a family.
Now I'm not saying everything should be like Leave It To Beaver and the wives soul purpose is to serve the man. By all means do what you want and fight for what you believe in, just don't go overboard. If you want respect from men you gotta' do things yourself and quit protesting and rioting and forming dumb little groups like NOW, Women's Study Departments, government groups, non-profit organizations, political advocacy groups, anything. Take some responsibility and you will be acknowledged.
If you want to be equal to men you've got to fight your own battles and depend on respect to get what you want. Not a bunch of bitching and whining. With that shit, men will still love and protect you but you won't get respected. And that's how to get what you want in this world.
That, as I always say, is today's quote.
