To women all across the country: How would you like to have the full paycheck that you've worked so hard for and not a fraction of it? Well, as a fellow woman I do too. That is why; we women need to speak our minds about this matter. Receiving equal pay is a must in a world of money.
“For every dollar a man makes a woman will only receive seventy-seven cents.”
How is this possible? Are women an inferior species? For some, that may be true. But, like men, women can be strong enough to withstand the odds. Such as, Clara Barton, the founder of the Red Cross. Or Valentina Tereshkova, the first woman astronaut in space!
It may seem that women are incompetent, but that is clearly not true. Like Bella Abzug once said: “The test is whether or not you can hold a job should not be the arrangement of your chromosomes.” I simply agree with this quote. People should not be paid based on their gender. They should be paid equally with justice.
I think that it's very unfair that women only receive seventy-seven cents. Money makes the world go round, right? So how come women can't have a chance to survive in this money crazed world? Besides, how can women appreciate “the value of a dollar” if all they get is seventy-seven cents? Women are not expecting special privileges they are expecting equality.
So, to women all across the country: Are you ready to have justice brought to our gender? Are you ready to change the outlook of this world? Ready for the rights as not the inferior species but as human beings? For the women of today and the women of tomorrow!
