Are You Really Working?

Everyone has 24 hours per day to work. Are you using those 24 hours like you should?

We need to work every day. Why? Every day you need to eat and food costs money. Every day you need to have a hot shower and water and gas costs money, and the big list goes on. To make money you need to work. You need to provide someone with your services or products and get money in return. That´s how society and the world works.

Now the question is: Are you really working?

It's too easy to get trapped in the mouse endless wheel and thinking you are improving and making progress when you are just running in circles.

This example, you spend an entire day surfing looking for websites that "might" be useful for you. They will probably be gone and long gone when you need them so this is just a waste of time. Or you spend an entire day checking and replying to emails. You say you need to be polite. But people must understand your life is not just email.

And so days go by and at the end of the month you have bills to pay but you don't have enough money because you wasted too much time "working" instead of working!

This is a good comparison. Imagine a race, a bicycle race around the world. It will take you probably about 6 months, and everyone has 24 hours per day to ride, to sleep, to eat and of course to make progress.

In you way, you will have to replace tires, to repair your bike, to make some maintenance and other things. What would happen if you spent too much time repairing your bike? You would be left behind! You can argue you need to have a bike properly repaired to run, but this is the point! You need to repair it as fast and as good as you can and sometimes you will have to ride it in not the best conditions!

The same goes to email and other secondary activities!

You need to focus just on what pays! Everything else is just secondary! Imagine you are racing, against your ghost! Have you ever played a car race computer game where you race against your record in the Time Attack mode?

Imagine you racing against your ghost too!

Don't compare yourself with others because they are doing exactly what you are doing, seeing where you go so they can secretly follow you.

Compete against your ghost!

Well thoughtout. I find no time at all, it's like a race against time, but you can never beat it. It always goes slow when you want to speed it up. Let's see I'll make a date with the longest day in the year and if someone can correct me but I'm pretty sure it's 27th December, wish me luck huh!

We all have 24 hours in each day to do what we believe is worth while. It comes down to choices!
