"Withdraw this case at once!" he yelled again.
"I will not! Do you see prostitution written on my face?" I asked.
I wasn't surprised that Accountemps hired a lawyer who had the same first and last name as the Maryland Metro Transit Authority (MTA) police who almost killed my son with his gun, and had the audacity to shout it out to me on June 9, 2003. Furthermore, the officer forbade us to leave Maryland. Eleven days later, my then seventeen year old son was kidnapped on June 20, 2003 by a woman and her twenty-year old son.
Though, I filed a Missing Persons Report with Baltimore County Police Department (BCPD), the female police officer refused to arrest them. As a matter of fact, the female police officer from BCPD kidnapped, and falsely imprisoned my only child to this day in Maryland.
My son is now twenty-one, but Maryland has made it practically impossible to leave. Like I said, they've tossed him back and forth in jail. He's forever on probation. Since the kidnapping, I've also sued BCPD many times in the federal courts in Boston, Seattle, Baltimore, Detroit, and Charlotte. My next stop is the United States District Supreme Court. I've already written to President George W. Bush and Chief Justice John Roberts about it. Four months after my son was kidnapped, my father whom I shared an extraordinary bond died on October 7, 2003.
It does suffice to say that Maryland police premeditated to harm my family. It all commenced with Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD). In July 2000, Montgomery County police telephoned me at work via my cellular phone during the time that I was on an assignment in Washington, DC with Accountemps. The police also ordered me to send my only child away. When I refused, Accountemps also terminated me on the spot like my former supervisor in LongBeach. How do you reconcile all of this? The only possible explanation is that Accountemps walked hand in hand with Maryland police every step of the way.
On another occasion, one of my former supervisors during one of my assignments with Accountemps said that he would hire me when he returned from Brazil. Prior to going to the movie theater in Rockville, I left a message with the receptionist at the hotel where we were staying.
"Please tell him that I would be willing to meet him in Rockville," I said.
On the same day, another Montgomery County Police Officer showed up at the movie theater with my son in handcuffs. Therefore, I strongly believe that Accountemps, and their clients are the sinister evil brains behind my son's kidnapping, and father's death. So far, they've gotten off, "Scott-free."
I've always prided myself upon the fact that I'm a writer. Storytelling's in my genes. After all, my beloved father founded the first newspaper in his country of origin. He read Journalism in America. He also taught me to articulate the truth. Though, some of my enemies have gone to great lengths to discredit me. The wonderful news is that every single person has placed me on a podium. My father was right!
"It doesn't matter if no one believes you. Just tell it as it is because one day, more than two people would see your unique abilities," he said.
Therefore, the art of telling the truth is truly a calling. Yes, I stomached many acts of discrimination, obsession, and terrorism at the hands of some employers. The most wonderful news is that some employers rewrote the wrongs that I suffered. Four companies deserve credit. On a number of occasions, I almost fell down when I tried to rise from my chair at work, but NRI Staffing didn't terminate me.
Instead, they accommodated me, and assigned me to work with a Certified Public Accountant's (CPA) firm. The CPA firm accommodated me. I sat down more than ninety-nine percent of the time. Therefore, I excelled. I reconciled many bank statements for thousands of companies that traded their stocks publicly.
Manpower, one of the largest staffing agencies in America, if not the largest also rewrote the wrongs that I suffered. After passing the Accounting, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access Tests, I wasn't assigned to the Accountant's position in Greensboro, North Carolina, and Dallas, Texas. Manpower mediated with me through the EEOC in Greensboro, and Dallas. We settled for $4,000.00. Ledgent, a member of ROTH staffing also mediated with me through the EEOC in Los Angeles for $850.00.
Finally, Merrill Lynch mediated with me in Greensboro, North Carolina for $1,000.00 through the EEOC. It's with distinct pleasure that I announce my gratitude to these employers for a job well done!
