Working together as teams has proven to be more effective while working in groups. When working in a team environment it is essential to understand the importance of individual cultures and diversity. The conscience effort of studying personality traits in people could make working in a team setting a good learning experience, thereby achieving the goals of the team.
As individuals join together all of there abilities can be honed together to work toward common goals. Members in teams can easily utilize specialized abilities such as common traits to share in the benefits of the team tasks. When working together with others, aspects of behavior can be address on an individualized basis. For examples factors such as stress, lack of motivation could cause conflict among team members. These emotions can be assessed and quickly detoxified with a small amount of effort. Others can strive to increase our awareness when we work closely in a group setting issues of others prompts awareness when we work in teams and can cause certain successful strategies.
For example on a team there are various levels of skills and abilities. If the goal were to create a structured environment in which many individuals were to work together their might be a need to create a manager for the team. This will allow the manager to control and monitor the process of the team events. Managers come highly skilled and well educated when the need arise to conquer a mission. Managers have the skills and the abilities of effective listening skills to reason with the personality traits of different individuals on a team. Our team to a certain extent is maximum latitude in our work we are each responsible for effectively communicating our ideas and responses to a given assignment to each other. Each one of use must have a level of dedication and commitment toward our fellow peers.
Values and attitudes portray a large role while working in a team environment. The team must be dedicated to making sure each task is achieved in a timely manner. Everyone has a rigorous schedule since we are all adults and each of us has a responsibility to the team. If we want a task achieved in relativity a short time generally there is a need to set a time line for the team task. This type of team works closely together and is disbanded at the conclusion of the task. Everyone has high standards and is expected to bring good values and attitudes for the good of the team project. There is no need for bad behavior and other irreverent personal responses. Thereby, the team can place together an effective project. Constant moral support lends the team the right attitude while achieving the end results of a particular mission. It is important for the team to understand its goals within the organization. Our team is able to effectively communicate by maintaining good positive attitudes and values (Schermerhorn, Hunt, & Osborn, 2005).
Personality and dialogue has many advances to lend to the team... Since there seems to always be room for humor you might not know what events may occur on and a given task assigned to a group. For example, according to the DISC Platinum assessment, my personality is the accessor. These are the behavioral type which tends to accomplish goals with excellence. Generally they are quick thinkers, and can deal with more than one task at a time, yet they are cautious when moving on them at once. The accessor has strong opinions about people in groups especially those whom they don't identify. It is advised to those who have these personality traits to try to slow down, take some time to negotiate with other, recognize the feelings of others, and lastly share feelings and concerns with colleagues who work on the team. Matter of fact; take some time to smell the roses, and to say the least just breathe.
Here is a scenario which transpired on a particular work day that portrayed the accessor trait personality. My work group consists of about five female individuals working together on a given project to accomplish a job ask. Sometimes we may have four or five assignments working at the same time this can really get stressful to say the least. We must constantly stay within communication range of each other so that everything gets place in its proper space. Team Realtree expects each of their orders to be shipped properly and in a timely manner. If careful observation were not given to each ticket orders would easily get mixed up. These orders may vary in quantity and quality and customer satisfaction must be the end results. When orders are not executed successfully, they may return to be re-worked by the same employees. Personally I try to stay focused and very attentive to all the tickets so that confusion does not take a hold and jeopardize the team efforts.
When other members tend to get stressed out and this can be sensed among the team, I can slow down my pace and everything seems to get back to business. Seniority plays a huge role in this process of making sure mission is done properly. The members of my group have been performing these tasks for Team Realtree for a very long time with the exception of me. This is a type of employment in which I am allowed to work on an as needed basis. This occupation is that of an apprenticeship and I am vastly growing in knowledge and experience. The position is somewhat of a seasonal nature and employs a diversified group of cultural individuals. On any given day one can witness the collaborated efforts of team work which exemplifies great morale while working together to accomplish a common goal. Togetherness and tenacity the group has really place together a high performance instrument.
