Description:
A person who is in the Landscape Nursery is like a nursery worker but there job varies by the employer. Their job is like a sales representative they work for a wholesale nursery, they go out and buy from large retail places at this place they talk with and sales agent and buy a certain amount. They must be able to estimate the amount because they need to know the growth and development the plants will be ready for market. They need to know this to give the customers accurate information.
Some of this representative goes out and make deals with the customers to have the plants transported from the nurseries to the customer's store.
Education:
There are no necessary needs for the job. Some can start as volunteers and get on the job training. Most employers prefer people who are educated and have taken courses at school about 2 years in nursery operation or horticulture. Other courses can be in college.
Salary:
The pay for this job is not much it is about $7-8 dollars an hour. As people who start out the pay is about $5.15-6 an hour but have a high school education. People with more experience get more money about $8-9 dollars an hour.
Advancements:
Further advancement for this job can be mangers or sales manger some can even go and open their own nursery.
