The Basics

Call for Health Care for all Americans

Wake up America. We need health coverage for all Americans. No one should be denied a life saving operation, period. No one should have to lose their house for medical reasons, period. No one should be denied health care, period. Humans have basic needs that should be met by a country as great as ours.

Every man woman and child should be given a basic allowance upon which to live. That means housing, utilities, food, water, cash $$ and of course medical care. Yes I’ll pay more taxes in fact I’ll give my whole check.

I’ll bet there would be less crime as people would have the basics and not have overwhelming financial needs that lead to acts of desperation. Since there is access to medical care more people with psychiatric problems could be identified earlier. People hooked on drugs could be helped. More people would see a doctor before their condition required Emergency services or other more expensive interventions or operations. Cancers and other life threatening conditions would be identified sooner. Expectant mothers, our Most Valuable Resource(MVR), by the way, would be seen earlier and its already been proven that early attention increases the chances that problems could be caught and fixed hopefully.

I hate insurance companies. It is gambling with money which I feel is immoral. How dare I be forced to pay for coverage. Yes I want to be covered in case of an accident, but there are too many people who can’t afford it. The ones least likely to be able to afford it are the ones who can’t get it and who need it most. Ironic isn’t it. That’s medical coverage and auto coverage and house coverage. And they can just dump you when they want. BULL.

Mothers. The hardest working most under paid workers in America. They hold our future in their hands and are once again our MVR and the most neglected one. Moms (or Dads) should be allowed to choose to stay home and nurture our youth . Or they work and try to work at home too, and are stressed to the max. If you think parenting isn’t a 24/7 job you don’t have kids or you are a chauvinistic man. If you think food stamps and AFDC covers anything u are sadly mistaken. Yeah they may have health coverage, but they don’t have a car to get there. They may have food, but no utilities, they may have $300. Per month but that doesn’t pay the rent, utilities, phone or clothes. And if you are married and he doesn’t have a job? You are out of luck. No AFDC for you, No housing for you., maybe food stamps and medical coverage for the children, but the adults can die for all the State cares. I’m not just talking about the poor. The work-steady white and blue-collar ‘s get dumped on regularly to pay more than their share making finances difficult for the majority of Americans, and then they too get dumped by some insurance company after months and months of payment, for one too many car accidents, one too many diseases, or one too many house catastrophes. They too become unemployed and need a branch over the bridge.

Men and women need jobs and self respect. If they can’t find their own jobs ASSIGN them one. Till they can find something they want more. If they aren’t capable of keeping a job, well there’s the problem isn’t it? Fix it. Give them something meaningful to do and fair money for doing it. And enough Money to pay for the BASICS. Who does not deserve to eat? Who does not deserve medical coverage? Who does not deserve a home? Who does not deserve any means to support themselves (($$))? What happened to all men created equal? We are not equal. We are suffering. I am suffering. I don’t want others to suffer needlessly. Lets take care of ourselves because we can’t help any one else unless we are ok. Then I’d like to branch out and help the rest of the world get the Basics. The basics. People need the Basics. I need the basics. Only after the basics are covered can I relax enough to excel in what area I work.
