Because Western civilization has dominated modern history, the study of civilization is often concentrated in the roots of European thought and life. At the same time the Near East was developing a civilization that soon spread into Europe. Advanced cultures were also developing in India and China.

Who would have ever imagined that amidst the chaos that India brings to your mind, you can think as far as being spiritual. Among the numerous chimes of the temples, the euphoric sounds of the calls to the Mosque, the huge facades of the churches, you will find a totally different faith.
