Illegal Immigration

Currently, there are 31 million immigrants in the US, and there are around 13 million illegal immigrants. This is approximately 1/16 of the current US population. Out of these 13 million capable of working, just 7.5 million are employed putting large financial strains on the economy and US government.

During the 2004 presidential election, President Bush, the most famous Social Security reformist, was not eager to discuss the issue. With the earliest baby boomers about to retire in 2008, Social Security has come to the forefront of many people's minds.

US Dollars Aid Tsunami

The United States spends millions to assist Tsunami in the devastating act of a massive underwater earthquake. President Bush had made no comment the first couple of days as he was vacationing in his ranch style home in Texas, when the earthquake struck in Indonesia.

Flyer and Fryer were pardoned on the White House lawn, as is traditional for the day before Thanksgiving. This action made me stop and wonder who would else the President would pardon before he leaves office. Here are a few names I'm personally nominating for the dubious honor.
