All of the world's energy (with the exception of nuclear energy came and comes from the sun. It is commonly said that we get all our energy from the Middle East in the form of petroleum. Even that energy came from the sun, billions of years ago. Photo-phos-phorylation is the ultimate process which supplied the world, all the energy. It is still supplying all the energy.
