When you're dieting, it's easy to get caught up in the jargon and still fail in the pursuit of health. Diet pill manufacturers tout every "weight loss" solution under the sun, but we still remain fat, or get even fatter. What's the difference between "weight" and "fat" when you're dieting and what kind of effects do they have?

When I think of the “E” word (exercise), I have mixed emotions ranging from a low, whinny groan to not wanting to endure physical pain. People have talked and written about a phenomenon called an “exercise high”, but I never experienced it; by the end of my workouts, I always felt like two minutes from death. “I feel great after my workouts!” Shut up.

Americans love their cars and the freedom that comes with them, so it's no surprise that when they go into the shop for any sort of work, we feel grounded and helpless. Giving up my car was the hardest thing I'd ever done, but there are rewards.
