Concentration camps were the deadliest killing centers in WW2. They were used to hold and kill both Jews and other prisoners of the Nazis. Over seven million people died in these camps, and that number is still rising every day with the findings of new mass graves.

The Invasion of Poland

Adolf Hitler's Nazi party took power in Germany in 1933. Germany then signed a non-aggression pact with Poland in 1934. Germany wanted to get back the Free City of Danzig establishing a new border. Poland rejected the idea, fearing that this proposal would weaken them and lose their freedom to Germany.

Presidential Pardons - Not Just For Feathered Turkeys!

Flyer and Fryer were pardoned on the White House lawn, as is traditional for the day before Thanksgiving. This action made me stop and wonder who would else the President would pardon before he leaves office. Here are a few names I'm personally nominating for the dubious honor.

The Problem with invoking Nazi Germany

There's another problem with Benjamin Netanyahu's "it's 1938 and Iran is Nazi Germany" speech beyond its inflammatory rhetoric: its destructive power. People who are told they are no good often fulfill that prophecy, and Israeli politicians are once again invoking a painful memory. Is this a wise thing to do just to sell a war with Iran?
