Though some have denied that Holocaust ever happened, it is certainly real in the lives of those who experienced its horrors first hand. There are innumerable people, particularly the Jews, who have suffered terribly under the German Nazi regime and survived. Many were resilient enough to pick up the pieces and went on to achieve greatness in their chosen endeavors.

The Holocaust is certainly one of the darkest times, if not the darkest, in the history of mankind. It is a time of overwhelming terror and enduring grief. It appears there was no trace of human kindness to lighten that darkness. It is said to be the ultimate expression of man's inhumanity toward man. Yet, there were deeds of courage and compassion during the Holocaust that we can take some comfort about our past and hope for our future.

There is a lot of evidence to support the hypothesis "Schools were used by the Nazis to indoctrinate young people". The Nazis used education as a tool for the consolidation of the Nazi system and Nazism was based on German racial superiority and so they needed to teach this in schools and universities.
