 | | Is Beauty Toxic? | | by Eyes Wide Open, May 26, 2007 | | Beauty in general is valued by our society. Being attractive puts you at an advantage, although often at an unfair one. However, can something so valued actually have a negative affect on us? What I am referring specifically to is female beauty. What I mean by “beauty” is what our society typically thinks of as the ideal beauty (Caucasian; thin; large breasted; etc.).
