 | | Can the Police be Trusted to Do the Job That Taxpayers Pay Them to Do? | | by Westbrook, Aug 27, 2008 | | The police to whom we delegate our individual power in a free and civilized society are obligated to serve us, but to foolishly believe we get our money’s worth all the time is wrong. They often are just as weak and prone to temptation as the offenders they arrest. They often drop the ball, or fail to carry out their duties appropriately, and are not caught or questioned. In some cases, their derelict of duty harms someone so outrageously, that they need a real awakening. Being sued helps them to wake up. It seems to be the only punishment they recognize. | | Comments(4) Liked It: 2 |

 | | Bonds & Prestige | | by saddu, May 15, 2008 | | I have tried to expose the major issue of women prestige and the cruelty of our male dominating society which not only exists in the Eastern countries but also happened in other societies who claimed themselves as most learned. This subject has mentioned the worst part of our society where sometimes women has all kind freedoms where she is spending most respectful life but sometimes unfortunately she meets with horrible tragedies and these tragedies destroy their entire life. | | Comments(0) Liked It: 1 |

 | | Fear of an Abused Victim | | by Denise Goddard, Oct 13, 2007 | | Unless you have lived it you can't understand it. Unfortunately there are too many stories of abuse. Abuse on woman, children and even men although it seems abuse on men is an uncommon occurrence. The reason for this is because abuse on men is a well guarded secret for fear of ridicule. | | Comments(1) Liked It: 3 |
